If the proposed protected person is already served by an Area Agency (developmental/intellectual disability or traumatic brain injury) or a Community Mental Health Center (severe and persistent mental illness), OR has a current open adult protective services investigation with the Bureau of Aging and Adult Services, please contact the specific agency to inquire about guardianship intakes directly with the State.
